Kemble House has north-facing daylight windows to one side, but can also be used as a black-out studio. There is 700 square feet of floor space, a large collection of free props and backgrounds which are included in every hire, and a cambo stand. We have free parking, a bathroom and a large, very well equipped kitchen with Smeg double oven, eight gas rings and a two-ring induction hob on the island. Local area
Kemble House is a short walk from Forest Hill station and a short bus ride from Catford and Catford Bridge stations. We are surrounded by useful shops: we have a small Co-op and a very good corner shop just over the road, while Forest Hill has a bigger Sainsbury’s. There are two excellent butchers nearby, Henwens and Smoky Yard, plus several delis, including Aga’s and the Pantry. For more specialist ingredients, Lordship Lane in Dulwich is about 10 minutes away by car, where you will find Moxon’s fishmongers, William Rose butchers, Bora & Sons for an incredible range of fresh fruit and vegetables and Mons, a fantastic cheese shop. There’s a huge Sainsbury’s hypermarket and a B&Q 10 minutes drive away, in Sydenham.
